The architects
Logis des aulniers has entrusted the architectural design for the building to Yves Dagenais of the firm Menkès Shooner Dagenais Letourneux Architectes.
Mr. Dagenais is a longtime resident of Saint-Lambert and one of the senior partners of the firm, which boasts a list of prestigious accomplishments, including the Grande Bibliothèque in Montreal.
In collaboration with Douglas Alford, architect and founder of Groupe CDH, Mr. Dagenais has designed a refined building that integrates all the equipment required to meet the needs of users.
The technical resource group
The Groupe Conseil en développement de l’habitation (the Groupe CDH) is a non-profit organization that has been working in the social economy sector since 1976.
Its mission is the realization of building projects run by the people who use them, with the goal of opening up the right to collective ownership by providing access to suitable housing, at an affordable price, for people with low or modest incomes.
It is responsible for more than 8,000 housing units in about 230 projects in Montreal and its suburbs.
