Logis des aulniers is an NPO whose goal is to provide access to affordable housing for people living with a disability and their caregivers. In partnership with the South Shore Volunteer Centre, LDA will build a new apartment block that will serve the respective needs of both organizations. Providing housing in downtown Saint-Lambert for people with disabilities greatly enhances their quality of life. Our goal is to realize a social economy project that will enrich our community with funding from existing government programs.

The project will mainly be financed through a 35-year mortgage,* a subsidy from the Société d'habitation du Québec (SHQ) (AccèsLogis Québec), as well as contributions from the Longueuil Agglomeration and the Seed Funding and Co-Investment Fund programs of the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC). Completion of the project is slated for 12 to 15 months after the building permit is obtained.
