Funding

Logis des aulniers is an NPO whose goal is to provide access to affordable housing for people living with a disability and their caregivers. In partnership with the South Shore Volunteer Centre, LDA will build a new apartment block that will serve the respective needs of both organizations. Providing housing in downtown Saint-Lambert for people with disabilities greatly enhances their quality of life. Our goal is to realize a social economy project that will enrich our community with funding from existing government programs.

The project will mainly be financed through a 35-year mortgage,* a subsidy from the Société d'habitation du Québec (SHQ) (AccèsLogis Québec), as well as contributions from the Longueuil Agglomeration and the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC). Completion of the project is slated for 12 to 15 months after the building permit is obtained.

The government rules governing public funds intended for the construction of a project like Logis des aulniers are such that the funds are placed in a bank account administered by the Technical Resources Group, the CDH Group, and not into an account. of the NPO.

Completion of the project is slated for 12 to 15 months after the building permit is obtained.
